So you are ready to rush out the door for work and getting the kids to school? Did you eat breakfast? Or did you just grab some coffee and maybe a bottle of water and go? Truth is, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Really! The reasons are simple and true. A quick simple healthy start fuels the body and mind through the remainder of the day as well as refuel the body from a long night of fasting, sleep and muscle recovery. Start your morning's off with a quick scoop of your favorite protein with some water or in the blender with some of your favorite fruits, veggies or even your choice of low fat or skimmed milk. Steel Oats can be warmed up in 2 minutes, in the microwave with a teaspoon of honey and cinnamon and maybe a few banana slices. Eggwhites can be scrambled with a fork and add a dash or salt and pepper and microwaves for 2 minutes. Nevertheless, you could grab a non-fat plain greek yogurt as you head out the door. This will get you on a great start for day and fuel your body for all the daily activities.
